Werevolution is a VocalOrchestra born in 2013. It is made up of a choir and a band of five musicians. Our speciality is the refined use of our voices, together with the attention and the synchrony of the musical
instruments.
Wre is the acronym of Werevolution and refers both to Evolution and Revolution which are the two distinctive traits of this project led by Giulio Jj Farigliosi.
The musical repertoire ranges from Pop, Soul to Rock. It creates a dynamic atmosphere full of emotions, thanks both to the reworked version of the songs at the top of the hit parade of the moment and to some memorable songs for a blast from the past.
Each musician boasts live collaborations and on tv Italian programmes with important artists like Lucio
Dalla, Dolcenera, Antonino, Vittorio Matteucci, Matia Bazar, Gianluca Grignani, Orchestra of Padua and of
Veneto, our region. Moreover, together with the Wre ensemble they performed in prestigious theatres and
summer stages of our country sharing them with important Italian musicians such as Antonino, Franco
Cerri, Mietta, Dado Moroni.
Our refined way of singing provides a better preparation than the one choirs usually offer. That's why every
now and then the musicians of Wre with a great experience in musical didactics carry out traning courses
on music theory, listening training, musical analysis of the songs and basics of rhythm and harmony for the
group. In fact, one of the aims of this project is to share the knowledge in order to give each singer both the
chance to sing and to develop their personal culture and musical perception.
